Straight Talking aims its arrows of truth directly at you, as its narrator, Tasha, openly discusses issues as if you were part of the world on the page and could answer back. The book is a no-holds-barred, frank take on sex, friendship and relationships for the single thirtysomething. A ladette in her 20s, sleeping around happily with a series of men, Tasha begins to retrench in her 30s and it becomes all-out open warfare to capture a man.

Will she fall for the suave, arrogant Andrew, who has females falling at his feet? Or will she fall back into a relationship with her treacherous ex-boyfriend, Simon?
