The classical Kamasutra was written by Mallanaga Vatsyayana a little less than two thousand years ago. Kama means sensuous love and since the treatise was written in the form of aphorisms or sutras, it became known as the Kamasutra. The present book is not connected to the classical Kamasutra. Since it is written in the form of aphorisms in the style of the Yoga Guru Patanjali, it is entitled as sutra. It is on women's sexuality and that is why it is called THE KAMASUTRA FOR WOMEN. Although the book is called The Kamasutra for Women, it is meant for both men and women to know more about the complexities of a woman’s being in order to create male-female harmony in the world. Most women in the world complain that men do not understand them. If men read this book carefully, it will help them to understand the subtleties of female characters. Besides that, men and women are both equally involved in sexuality and it is not possible to treat this theme exclusively for women. The book has Eleven Parts with eleven sutras in each part and the last six Parts have the practical aspects of sexuality, obviously meant for both men and women. Each of the eleven parts of the book begins with an appropriate citation from ancient literature or my own quote along with an ancient illustration that matches that particular theme. Indian miniature paintings and erotic sculptures from temples provide appropriate context for this purpose. The book has special newly created yoga postures that facilitate to make diverse sexual postures and enhance flexibility for an easy childbirth. The book contains a wealth of Ayurvedic and homeopathic remedies, as well as purification and rejuvenating methods including aphrodisiacs. There are methods for coordinating the male-female sexual energies at diverse levels of this unique experience.
