The fourth edition of AN INTRODUCTION TO THE BIBLE is now available. It includes new material on the controversial Jesus Seminar, updates on Biblical archaeology, more discussion of new methods of study of the Bible, discussion of the Bible and the environmental crisis, and more. Teachers and students using the book have found it readable, balanced, and up-to-date.
