I wanted to write a book that reflects that life's no longer as simple as meeting Mr Right and living happily ever after. My heroine, Leonie, has to juggle work and her relationship with Will, she has to fight both her husband's past - the enigmatic,irritating ex-girlfriend ,Saffron - and for her own future, which is to have a baby.
