Collins continue to build on the strength of their phrase books by improving and updating their highly successful Phrasebook and Dictionary series. This new edition will contain a photo-key section illustrating signs and other practical and useful information.
Previously ‘three books in one’, the new series will contain ‘four books in one’ – a phrase book, a food guide (with menu reader), a dictionary, and now a photo-key guide showing signs and practical,
useful, visual information.
The phrases are short and easy to use. The language reflects everyday speech – there are no lengthy sentences to struggle and sweat over. The phrases have a simple guide to help with pronunciation. There are also practical tips. The clear 4-colour layout allows easy access to key information.
Collins Phrase Books aren’t just for emergencies. They are designed to allow you to get the most out of your visit abroad: from sampling the food to getting the best deals on public transport.

Amazon review for the previous edition:
A really good book if you're only going for a week or two…,
I had to know how to ask for things in Italian before my first trip to Rome. The book is really useful for those essential phrases like 'please' and 'how much…?', and everything is put into handy little subjects. There is also a food section for when you go to restaurants and the numerous cafes. An excellent book for short holidays, with phrases in Italian and English and a small part at the front teaches you how to pronounce the words. 5 stars!
