Longmans, Green, and Co., 1878. Hardcover. Condition: Good. Ex-library copy. The cloth has some general wear, staining and fading, commensurate with age. The gilt on the spine is still clear though it has noticeably faded. Bumped from use but not severe. The text-block is grubby with age and use. The front pastedown has a panel from a library and there is a library stamp and the remnants of what was possible a large sticker (extending along most of the page nearest the spine) on the ffep. Also in this area is a newspaper extract concerning a model of the 'sunbeam' being put on display. There are at points later in the book stamps from the library at the bottom of the pages. There is some general grubbiness and occasional staining to the pages, but the text, pull-outs and images are still legible. Seller Inventory # 003002
