Condition: New. 118 pages. 10 x 8 inches. narwhal was originally created in 1977 as a loosely bound one-of-a-kind edition of twenty-six 16 x 20 inch photographs. This artist book was purchased by Julianne Kemper Gilliam. The color negative photographs from the original artist book are included in this new expanded edition. Richard Newton began making artists books in 1974. The early books used ink, or were created using a Black and White Xerox machine. Most of the books are one-of-a-kind.
