Octavo. 205 pages, indexed. Hardcover in patterned paper covered boards. A white label pastedown on front cover. The binding is worn and rubbed but sound and has damping at the top of the front cover and on the spine. Lower right corner of front cover has had the paper scuffed off. The spine is browned, including the white label pastedown. Endpapers are foxed, have toned places. Text is toned and has occasional foxing. Sometimes the foxing is really quite heavy and uneven. Heavy foxing to part of the title page. SIGNED AND INSCRIBED (but not personalized) by the author on the half title, "Hoping this little book will bring happiness. / Louise Seymour Jones.".
