Letter from Eleanor Roosevelt to [John H.] Bolton regarding the furniture offered at the Val-Kill Shop in Hyde Park, New York, set up by ER and three friends. On Val-Kill Shop letterhead, it has been folded vertically and horizontally, and is glued across the top to backing sheet. The letter, dated March 14, 1929, reads: "Dear Mr. Bolton: Thank you so much for your note. I am sending you a folder and retail price list. We are trying to make our furniture just as nicely in both construction and finishing as possible and we feel that there are people who really care for very fine things. If there are any other details you would like to know concerning our furniture, I would be glad to write you. Very sincerely yours, Eleanor Roosevelt (Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt)."
