An undated letter by Samuel Prout, English water color painter, thanking Mr. North for the "handsome present of game, a pheasant & a pair of partridge". Prout was a contributor to 'Beauties of England and Wales' (1803-1813) and made a series of continental street scenes, to great acclaim. Prout also engraved numerous prints of Australia, before, during and after the gold rushes. Signed "very faithfully yrs, S Prout. 4 1/2 x 7". Seller Inventory # 19681
