Probably private snapshots made into postcards, rather than company shots. The 5 cards show various aspects of the Revolution. 4 of the 5 postcards are stamped "Post Card Correspondence, Address, Place Stamp Here" are signed "Phil" on the verso, lower right corner. The descriptions are "Phil's" notations on the back- 'Bolshevik prisoners being loaded in train inland' - a long train of boxcars, with people jumping on, two men in the foreground watching from an opposite track, numbered 763 in the lower right of the image; 'Warden transport coming into the docks last winter' - the deck of this boat is heavily iced over, numbered 283 lower right corner; 'Train leaving Vladivostok' -a large steam engine in a station, numbered 740 in the lower right of the image; 'Plowing by russian woman inland' - a plowed field, woman and horse drawn plow in background, numbered 766 bottom right; a picture of a military parade in a street, with buildings behind, and large posters in Russian visible on the right, card numbered 537 lower right. 5 1/4 x 3 1/2" postally unused.
