Signed etching, a fine impression of lower Broad Street in Manhattan, showing the NY Stock Exchange at the lower right. Nat Lowell (1880 - 1956) was a Latvian born artist who emigrated to New York City and studied at the Art Students League. He is best known for his powerful etchings of New York City landmarks. He taught in New York; his works are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum, the New York Public Library and the New York Historical Society, and at the Library of Congress. Dimensions: 6 13/16 x 11 9/16" the sheet, 9 x 15". Signed below the etching at the lower right. Framed in a black frame with gilt inside edge, matted. Framed a little rubbed. Sorry, no shipping.
