Dresden, 1820. Charming etching on strong paper. The mother sitting in a chair, hanging from her belt a pouch and key, holding a pendulum in her right hand next to her two each other kissing kids. At bottom signed and dated in the plate with monogram "HW 20", and with pencil "Dresd. - 6 49". 7,6 x 5,3 cm.*Nagler, Monogrammisten III, No. 1674. Rare etching. No. 6 of a small limited edition of 49 copies. About the German printmaker W. Harmes not much is known, Nagler mentions only 2 other prints. - Very large margins.[(6008)]. Seller Inventory # 6008
