Limited edition of 80 copies of which this is number, signed and numbered by the artist on the colophon page. Twelve black and white wood engravings and four colour wood engravings. pp [28]. Brown card paper boards with a buff coloured dust-wrapper; lettered with title to front, one black scuff-mark and a touch creased along top edge ; title in red and black; printed on Basingwerk Parchment paper; interior clean, unmarked and engravings beautifully presented. Born in Buckinghamshire, Angela Lemaire went to the Chelsea School of Art (1963) and the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts (1964-67, Dip. AD.) where she studied under Michael Rothenstein. She learned the art of wood-engraving from Frank Martin, and was also largely self-taught. She is a member of The Society of Wood Engravers. Seller Inventory # 9531
