The Loved One is encased in original glissine dust jacket and is a rare find in such near fine condition. Original olive green cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Top edge is gilt and others are uncut. Slight fading of spine and lower section of upper cover. Signed by author and illustrator below the signature of "Mr E. B Maahinock's copy". Very clean end papers and contents. Illustrated with sepia decorative initials and full page woodcuts. The glissine dust jacket is price clipped 42s.
