12mo. Olive-green cloth with labels to the spine and upper board. [ii] (blank), 382pp. The 2nd edition, 'different from the version which has been circulated previously in England in so far as it is more complete, and that many sections of the original text which had been cut out, have now been restored'. With cancels for the jacket's flaps, as usual (where the first state described a legal dispute), and a green border to the title page. Just a little light spotting (barely perceptible) to the page edges, the spine with a short scratch to its label and its tail gently bumped, in the jacket (itself in a removable plastic sleeve), slightly rubbed to extremities, with a closed nick at the lower spine fold, also a touch marked in places, but bright and presenting well. This copy has been signed by the author on the half-title page. Seller Inventory # 007142
