About this Item
Printing not stated. Binding tight; pages clean; bottom corners of boards discolored; some very faint (moisture? foxing?) staining to final 80 or so pages. Inscription "Sincerely, Edna Ferber" on front endpaper. A collection of short stories, including "Old Man Minick," which Ferber and George Kaufman adapted into a Broadway play two years later. The author's last book before her breakthrough Pulitzer-winning novel "So Big." A surprisingly uncommon title, and genuinely scarce signed, as are all of Ferber's early works. Lacking the scarce dust jacket. 5 x 7-5/8". 291 pages. Seller Inventory # 2917

Store Description
If I've mischaracterized a book, please let me know, and I'm happy to accept returns for refunds.
Orders usually ship within three business days. I generally pack books in boxes, with padding, and unless they're unusually bulky or heavy -- more than four pounds or so -- I won't ask for additional shipping costs. For domestic media-mail buyers, anyway. Prices for international and even priority shipping can get *insane*.
