Contents: 7 heliogravures, 28 x 35 cm in size, printed on 250-gram Sommerset Velvet Soft White paper, numbered and signed by the author. A book in cartoné binding and hand-sewn and sewn by hand, with the artist's filmography and photos that illustrate various aspects of his life, as well as a text by Carlos Fuentes about his work. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity from the Estate Gabriel Figueroa, signed by Gabriel Figueroa Flores Issued in Box container in eucalyptus with ebony veneer, silkscreen printed in two colors. LIMITED EDITION OF 30, NUMBEREED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Gabriel Figueroa(Mexican, 1907-1997) is considered the most recognized cinema-tographer in Mexican cinema. His work made a decisive contribution to shaping the image of what is known as Época de Oro del Cine Mexicano. Disciple of Gregg Toland (photographer for Citizen Kane of Orson Wells).Gabriel Figueroa's portfolio of work consists of of 7 images, printed as heliogravure, extracted from the most iconic scenes of Mexican Cinema of the Golden Age such as La Perla (1945), Pueblerina (1948), Macario (1959), in which the compositions with an aesthetic load inspired by the muralist movement and where foreshortenings, chiaroscuros, perspec-tives and a vision of the Mexican landscape with saturated skies full of clouds are de-noted, as well as characters played by María Félix, Dolores del Río and Pedro Armendáriz. This series is accompanied by an introductory text by Carlos Fuentes and a Certificate of Authenticity -Estate- signed by his son, Gabriel Figueroa Flores. Seller Inventory # 118245
