Association copy inscribed by Speyer to Grace Johnston. Small 8vo. 113 pp plus 15 unpaginated leaves. Blue boards with dark blue spine. Top of text block dyed blue. Titles pasted to spine. In a pictorial jacket with art by Khalil Gibran. Jacket is edge worn with some darkening and staining. Some late leaves uncut, including the index of poems. Very slight lean to spine. Bears the inscription "To Grace Johnston, With kind regards. Leonora Speyer 1937". Potentially a copy belonging to Jazz Singer Grace Johnston who sang with the Indiana Five. Speyer won the Pulitzer Prize for this book in 1926. This is the second printing, May 1927, following the first in Februaray 1926. Seller Inventory # 000563
