Viii pp + 88 pages, printed on Van Gelder Zonen hand-made paper, uncut edges, oatmeal buckram, signed by author on FFEP "David Scott, from CD, November 1908, Boughton". some brown offsetting to endpapers and some rubbing to boards, mostly surface ingrained dust with some spotting at fore edge, but contents near fine, bevelled edges. 12 mo. (7 x 4 inches). *Very small limitation number 30 copies. European poetry from France and Italy collected in this anthology, from Victor Hugo, Baudelaire, de Musset, de Maupassant, Dante, D'Annunzio, etc. **1 copy located in the Bodleian Library only and that not signed. The author was Admiral Lord Charles Thomas Montagu Douglas Scott GCB (20 October 1839 ? 21 August 1911) and he lived at Boughton House near Kettering in Northamptonshire, perhaps the printed got the initials wrong? **Dutch Van Gelder Paper Mills are now defunct since 1982.
