TO DANCE Panov, Valery and George Feifer: Published by London, Allen, 1978 Inscribed 8vo., original cloth with dust wrapper. A near fine copy. First edition inscribed by Valery and Galina Panov to John Travis, "To Dear John with warmest wishes Galina" and "John!" With ac signed ink self portrait of Valery Panov. Valery and Galina Panov were guest artists with London Festival Ballet where they performed together with John Travis in Giselle. John Travis was the former Director of the British Ballet Organisation. John was trained by the BBO, later studied at the Royal Ballet School and graduated to the Opera Ballet at Covent Garden, before joining London Festival Ballet (now English National Ballet) where he became a soloist and created the first Education & Community Programme.
