FIRST EDITION, SIGNED BY AUTHOR. Large, slim 8vo. Black cloth spine, lettered in gilt, red cloth boards, gilt-stamped facsimile signature to upper board. Spotting to top edge, a few spot to fore-edge. Signed by Bradbury in blue pen to title page. Else, clean, tight and bright. In the original illustrated dust jacket: a little creasing to spine ends and top edges. A lovely, bright copy of Bradbury's slight novel. Near fine/ near fine. Bradbury's satire of Thatcherite Britain and contemporary television production, which he'd become involved with through the adaptation of The History Man in 1981.
