JAMES WILSON (1742-1798). Wilson was a Founding Father, Declaration and Constitution signer, and U.S. Supreme Court Justice from Pennsylvania. DS. 2pgs. July term 1773. N.p. [probably Cumberland County, Pennsylvania] A note signed "Wilson". The note was written on the back of an earlier order issued by King George III to the Sheriff of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and signed "John Agnew". Wilson signed at the bottom of an itemized list of expenses that was also signed by the sheriff. The document is in good condition with a vertical tear all the way through the center that has been repaired with tape, as well as toning throughout. Seller Inventory # 5796
