Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for inked out name on the 2nd blank page, the title page, and the CP. Book Condition: Very Good; Library Rebound book; light shelfwear; index number on spine; slight toning of pages. No DJ. Green buckram boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine. Patterned endpapers with reinforced hinge. 309 pp 8vo. Charles Monroe Sheldon was known by many different titles: pastor, social justice warrior, prohibition campaigner, author and editor. He is famous for his book In His Steps, which is a collection of short stories that turned into the ?WWJD? (What Would Jesus Do) movement. Sheldon also did work in Tennessee Town, traveled all over the world for prohibition reformation and advocated for world peace. This is Sheldon's story of his childhood, life, his coming to the Central Congregational Church in Topeka, his writings, his travels, and his battle for prohibition. A clean very presentable copy.
