The copy offered is inscribed and signed by him in ink to Colonel Rivett-Carnac (John Henry 1838-1923) with his armorial bookplate to the front paste down. Good (Book- moderate general shelf wear to cloth, previous owner book plate as above, some soiling to the paste down - surfeit of paste. Author inscription to preliminary blank.
