Cover color painting by Allen Sapp which is reproduced in black and white on the title page. Brown wrappers printed in cream color with a color painting on the front cover. Some wear to extremities, with the top and bottom of the spine slightly abraded, and rubbing along the edges of the spine, small spot on top of textblock, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. William Patrick "W. P." Kinsella was a Canadian novelist and short story writer, known for his novel Shoeless Joe (1982), which was adapted into the movie Field of Dreams (1989). His work often concerned baseball, First Nations people, and Canadian culture.
