Title in gold on the front cover and on the spine, double gold line runs along the seam of the cloth on the front and the back covers. Unpaginated. Each poem accompanies one of the engravings. All of the engravings and poems illlustrate scenes Kingsley saw and sketched in London and Bristol after the air raids. Cook has exhibited his work at many distinguished British associations, including the Society of Wood Engravers, the Royal Academy London, the Royal Scottish Academy, and the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers. Cook printed the book on a Hopkinson and Cope 1842 Albion press. Fine, with a slight ding on the spine. This is the first production of his Centaur Press.
