First edition. Thick octavo. 445pp. Blue papercovered boards with beige cloth spine and paper spine label. Includes an 8 page facsimile of the author's manuscript. Some pages unopened, modest foxing on hinges and page edges, spine tanned, a near fine copy housed in a very good modestly edgeworn cardboard slipcase with paper label mounted on one side, staple protruding from cardboard spine. This is number 256 of 350 copies Signed by the author, of which only 329 were for sale. Laid in is the six page reprint of "The Saturday Review: Vol. VI, No. 24, January 4, 1930: *All Our Yesterday's* reviewed by Henry Seidel Canby. Seller Inventory # 408317
