Laid in is a review of the book from one of the Sunday Supplements (the Observer, I believe). "Promises to do for the tulip what Longtitude did for clocks and Fermat's Last Theorem for mathematics. The book is beautifully illustrated and reveals how the captivating qualities of the plant have been captured in art. This is a very heavy book which may require additional postage.
