Published by the author at his own private press in 1904 this is No 41 of 50 copies printed, signed and numbered by the author, along with a presentation inscription. printed on nice quality handmade paper, 10 inches tall approx., 37 pages, the covers have generally darkened with some edge rubbing wear, marking and small splits to base of spine, internally endpapers heavily browned, else contents in nice condition St George Botolph Lane was a church off Eastcheap, in the ward of Billingsgate in the City of London. The rear of the church overlooked Pudding Lane, where the fire of London started. It was first recorded in the twelfth century and destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666. It was one of the 51 churches rebuilt by the office of Sir Christopher Wren. The church was demolished in 1904. Seller Inventory # 002255
