First edition (so stated). 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Illustrated with Aztec designs. Original stiff purple & pink decorated wrappers designed by Douglas J. Houston. Fine. 47 pages. Signed and inscribed by author on title page "for George Dewey - with thanks for his encouragement at the beginning! - " Laid in loose is a typescript of a six line poem written for Cukor titled George Dewey Cukor's Homecoming 1975 Ode to 9166 on Chapman's 8676 Lookout Mountain/Los Angeles, California 90046 letterhead. From the library of noted "Gone With The Wind" Hollywood director George Cukor with his Paul Landacre bookplate on the front pastedown. McGilligan's book on Cukor has several references to Chapman.
