This is a UK first edition hardcover published by New English Library in 1976 AND SIGNED BY JAMES HERBERT DIRECT TO THE TITLE PAGE WITH INSCRIPTION. The jacket is rubbed to the top corner tips and there is a small chip to the back panel by the top of the spine. Otherwise it is Fine and unclipped (Ł4.50 UK only), and bright / unfaded. The book is Near Fine with straight spine, sharp corners and lightly softened spine ends you can ONLY See if you remove the jacket. The page edges are lightly toned as is the norm due to the poor quality paper used. The copyright page confirms the first publication in 1976. Seller Inventory # 017046

Shipping Terms:

I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. I do NOT offer cheap shipping and add it to the book price so please do not complain to me that Bob down the road offers cheaper postage. Sure he does - but the price of his book is hiked to reclaim it, or you're referring to a power seller who can negotiate postage discounts. I can't - I'm a private individual selling my private collection. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. Tracking is NOT provided automatically on UK parcels - you have to choose priority mail AND pay an additional Ł7 postage on top.
