PUBLISHER: The Macmillan Company DATE/EDITION: 1938, stated First printing, published November, 1938 BINDING: Hardbound in red cloth with gold decoration and title block on the front cover and spine, 468 pages. DUST JACKET: The jacket is priced 2.50 on the front flap. There are some small chips and rips at edges but overall still attractive and in a protective cover. BOOK CONDITION: There is some damp stain and spotting to covers but they are still bright and clean and nothing penetrated the interior of the book, the binding is still quite tight and there are no odors to the book. The interior is very clean. The only thing of note inside the book is an old name and address label affixed to the first free end paper. DESCRIPTION: Signed by the author on the first free end paper. Story of a Scotchman and his rise to fame and fortune in western Pennsylvania in the coal and steel industries. Seller Inventory # 004766
