First edition (Toledano A87), AUTOGRAPHED "Dogear Wryde" by Edward Gorey in typical fashion with a crossing out of Dogear Wryde and signed in black ink directly above. Only presents the faintest touch of sunning, confined to the extremities and barely discernable. Extremely faint evidence of a dampstain about 5 mm or 1/8" on top edge of front cover (hard to see, as the last letter of the author's name "ward" obscures the defect), and then less and less evident on a few subsequent pages. Perhaps a hint of rubbing on the back cover? Again the defects are so very minor, they are mentioned only to be completely frank about any possible condition issues.
