Very Fine condition with good DJ with several tears, top and bottom and recoverable with a mylar cover. This is the two decade long march of a Marine officer from Nicarauga during the Banana Wars, China before World War II, and campaigns in the South Pacific with the Third Marine Division and later the V Marine Amphibious Force. This volume is complete with both personal and operational detail that adds meat to the official histories as well as placing a human touch on the wars, both hot and undeclared, fought by Marines in the first half of the twentieth century.
