Published in 1946 by Houghton Mifflin, Riverside Press. Illustrated by Robert F. Halock. Signed by Beatrice Talbot on first blank page (see photos). Hard cover with dust jacket (DJ). See photos for condition. DJ is wrapped in protective mylar slip. DJ has moderate wear - edge rips and creases, faded ink around the edges and spine, small chunk missing around top of spine. Light part of DJ on back toned. Fabric on hardcover boards darkening around spine and edges. Fabric fraying slightly around bottom of spine and bottom board corners. First few pages of text block have a bit of damage in the top-middle, where it looks like there was a small bit of moisture that dried. Otherwise, pages appear clean and clear of writing, markings, highlighting, or notable damage. Binding tight. Seller Inventory # ABE-1724797068839
