NOTE - ORIGINALLY THE FIRST 2 DEAN KOONTZ DARK HARVEST LETTERED EDITIONS THAT WERE PUBLISHED IN 1988 (THIS BOOK) DID NOT COME WITH DUST JACKETS BUT THE PUBLISHER NOTICED THAT THE LETTERED BOOKS WERE TOO "LOOSE" IN THE WOODEN SLIPCASE AND SO THE PUBLISHER USED EXTRA UNUSED DUST JACKETS FROM THE NUMBERED EDITION FOR BOOKS PUBLISHED IN 1989 - A PRIOR OWNER ADDED AN ORIGINAL DARK HARVEST DUST JACKET TO THIS BOOK AFTER PUBLICATION. NOTE - THIS BOOK WAS ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED UNDER THE LEIGH NICHOLS PENNAME IN 1982 WHICH WAS PUBLISHED AS A PB-ONLY UNDER THE LEIGH NICHOLS PEN NAME BOOK SO THIS BOOK MARKS THE FIRST HARDCOVER EDITION. THIS BOOK WAS SIGNED/INSCRIBED BY DEAN KOONTZ A 2ND TIME (ON THE PAGE OPPOSITE OF THE TITLE PAGE: "THIS HOUSE IS NOT A HOME. DEAN R. KOONTZ" Book has no former ownership markings inside, no creased page corners (note - bottom left corners of first 2 pages after ffe were damaged at time of binding and subsequently repaired by the publisher), no dents/soiling/discoloration to slipcase, DJ has no spine fading, no soiling or staining, almost no edge wear, almost no wear to spine tips, no tearing or chipping or creasing to DJ. Wooden Slipcase has no spitting (common defect) or discoloration. Overall a VG+/FINE- book in similiar condition dust jacket & wooden slipcase of a very scarce Dean Koontz Signed & Lettered edition book.
