VERY RARE 18TH CENTURY WELSH PUBLICATIONS - BOUND IN ONE VOLUME : 1st listed : Dated 1773, making this a first edition. The boards are early and very worn but holding. The Title page, has been repaired and the word 'Flodau' seems to have been altered in ink using the letter 'B', making this read Blodau. The block is entire, and about good for the most part, with some ink scribble type lines to some margins, one margin with juvenile drawing of two male portraits, p.153 has 4 ink blotches which eliminate 4 words.p.231/232, with triangulat tear, but text present { needs sensitive repair ] Internal repair to pages 281,282,283 -286, with a little impact to some text. Similar for 287-300, with some tear/holes and impacting some text. Includes : Title page, p.2, Preface with stains, A list of Bards [ii], [vi],[ii],Y Rhagymadrodd present, Subscribers Names, Dr. Samuel Johnson in list of subscribers, [viii ], 300.
