Stated first edition, published 1967 by Harper and Row. Signed by the author on the title page with short inscription, date & time. Hard cover with dust jacket (DJ). See photos for condition. DJ has heavy wear. DJ front is wavy/rippled/warped. DJ edges have chunks missing (top of spine has sizeable chunk missing), rips and creases. DJ spine toned. Some brownish splotches on back of DJ. Ink rubbing off on edges. Ripped at corners and center of fore edge.Some crease lines down spine. Fabric on hard cover boards has spotted/splotched light discoloration. Light waviness to spine exterior at top of spine. Small rips in fabric at top of spine, where there are also some crease lines and a small white dot stain. Board corners curling in. Small chip in fabric and bump on top-center edge of back board. Book has a bit of a foreward lean to it. "WITHDRAWN" stamp on front endpaper, but no other indications of previous library use. Some minor browning/toning to front blue endpaper in places. Some speckling to top of text block. Dog-ear crease line on pg 10. Otherwise, pages appear clean and clear of highlighting, writing, markings, underlining, or other notable damage or staining. Binding good. Seller Inventory # ABE-1722620590962
