Published in 1982 by Taylor Publishing Co, this is a fascinating part-autobiography, part-history of aviation from 1917 to 1960s from Jack B. Jaynes from the daredevil days as a former WWI pilot to barnstorming pilot to WWII advisor and an aviation industry expert during the period of modernization and increased safety. Profusely illustrated throughout with black and white illustrations and photographs. Condition: FINE/NEAR FINE Book shows very light rubbing and a light streak across original glossy dark blue front board. Age-toned pages. Square spine, strong binding, sharp corners and as-new clean interior. Dust jacket is NEAR Fine with light edge wear, sun-toned spine and a vertical crease in back flap else FINE. A beautiful copy!
