80 pp. Sm. 4to. Printed by Francisco A. Colombo, on Perusia de Fabriano paper, with Garamond type. Title in blue, red and black, sectional headings and page numbers in red. The works of Colombo Press are "veritable jewels of the printer's craft" (Annick Sanjurjo, Contemporary Latin American artists: exhibitions at the Organization of American States 1941-1964, p. 350). This copy numbered 6 (of 100) printed for Maury A. Bromsen, a book dealer and Latin American scholar. Dialogo, about Anatole France, first appeared on 3 January 1909 as a signed article in the newspaper "La Nacion" following France's publication of "Ile des Pingouins." Emilio Becher (1882-1921) was an editor of the Buenos Aires Herald, Libre Palabra, El Heraldo, Diario Nuevo y El País, and in 1906 joined La Nacion, where he remained until his death on February 25, 1921.
