Green cloth covered boards a tad 'splotchy', small hole at upper tip of half title from age abrasion, barely noticeable. Illustrated by Paul Brown including full color endpapers fore and aft, and several full page b/w plates throughout. Stated First Edition. No tears or soil in the 251pp text. Price-clipped color illustrated dust wrapper is a professional reproduction that displays well. A young adult novel, "The varied adventures of a lively group of young people who, riding Indian ponies, followed the blazed trail of a winding corduroy road through the deep forests of Northern Wisconsin.".
