Quarto. Pp. [17]. Cloth-back patterned boards with printed title label. Designed and printed by Mallette Dean in an edition of 350 copies. Bound in half-cloth over decorated paper-covered boards. The book was issued in wrappers; this elaborate binding was perhaps created as a presentation copy. Although not marked as such, this bright, fresh copy is from Mallette Dean's personal collection. The keepsake was privately printed for the Zamorano and Roxburghe clubs. Wheat is perhaps best known for his monumental five-volume Mapping the Trans-Mississippi West. Seller Inventory # 8303
