"Insignificance: Today. to claim any significance or meaning, even if only to ourselves, is to flirt with ridicule. Many see banality as a consequence of knowing the real condition of things. All I see in these postures is their lack of substantial offers and how it becomes doctrine and, eventually, an escape from the burden of independent and serious engagement with art and life." (Celaya). Celaya is a Cuban-born painter and sculptor. Contains list of titles, chronology at rear. Seller Inventory # 49004
