This copy is inscribed by Maso to choreographer Mark Morris: "For Mark Morris - with extravagant admiration. Yours in irresistible music, Carole Maso/ 1994." From page 78 of the text: Behemoth is danced in silence, and while it is a silence full of rhythms, the rhythms break off abruptly or disappear in long pauses." (Not unlike the text of Ava.) Behemoth was a 1990 dance piece created by Morris. Fine in a very near fine dust jacket with one closed edge tear. Unless otherwise noted, our first editions are first printings.
