About this Item
Autograph Letter Signed. One small quarto sheet of thin paper, written on both sides. Text in English. Folded twice for mailing, some edge creasing and tiny tears, very good. Italian teacher and literary critic Felicina Rota writes a friend, "Bill," in early 1958. She informs him of her new job in the English department of the University of Messina, where she will be teaching Wordsworth among other material, and briefly discusses an article she is writing on *Sir Orfeo*. Rota published books in Italian on Wordsworth and Shakespeare, and wrote an introduction to an Italian-language edition of *David Copperfield*. Seller Inventory # 588207
