1st edition. SIGNED. A Good copy. 8vo., xi, 147 pp., illustrated with 3 maps(one large folding), frontispiece and numerous b&w photographic plates. Bound in green cloth with crossed naval pennants in red, white, blue and black; titles in gilt. t.e.g. The front and rear boards are unevenly sun-faded, with some mottling of the cloth, perhaps due to moisture. Internally Near Fine. SIGNED by Vanderbilt with an inscription and 1925 date on a front end paper. A Good copy with Near Fine contents. A Mylar sleeve now protects the cloth covers. SIGNED and Inscribed by Vanderbilt (heir to the Vanderbilt fortune) to his fellow yacht-club member, and New York industrialist, Alexander S. Cochran. Seller Inventory # 23193
