A Good to Very Good, three quarter leather binding over tan cloth boards, gilt lettering on spine, gilt ruled, decorative gilt design on spine, 5 raised hubs with small abrasions, some handling/rub marks to boards, binding intact, TEG with some blemishes, deckle fore-edge and bottom text block edge, bit of age toning to pages, marbled endpapers/pastedowns, some rubbing to spine edges and board corners, abrasion to rear board with tear to buckram, overall sound. A Fair Only, heavy discoloration, slightly split at corners, two large abrasions to board (refer to picture in listing), Slipcase. A good and unmarked copy. 4to[quarto or approx. 11.5 x 13.5 inches], 101pp., tissue protected b&w illustrations. We pack securely and ship daily with delivery confirmation on every book.
