A rare collaboration between two eminent artists, this collection is comprised of stunning photographs and the thought-provoking poetry inspired by them. From warm portraits of rural Wales and a raucous bachelorette party to moving images of a drug addict shooting up and the aftermath of the Aberfan disaster, this diverse compilation offers insight into British society. Including an intriguing discussion about the differences and similarities between the two art forms, this account will interest photographers and poets alike.

Review:
[Fuller s poetry possesses] elegant, surprising meditations on approaching death . . . the persistence of past people and things, and the liveliness of infants. A. S. Byatt, "Guardian""

"Fuller's formal skill has often led him to undertake formidable challenges. In his most recent work, a strong humanistic civic note has emerged in poems concerned with the current state of the world." --Peter Forbes, editor, Scanning the Century: The Penguin Book of the Twentieth Century in Poetry

"John Fuller is a virtuoso in whom remarkable stanzaic skill is allied to a playful intellectual stance. His work has order, clarity, empirical veracity but also a far playfulness and inventiveness." --Peter Porter, poet, Better Than God

"[Fuller's poetry possesses] elegant, surprising meditations on approaching death . . . the persistence of past people and things, and the liveliness of infants." --A. S. Byatt, Guardian

"This brave volume offers a proud collaboration between two masters of their chosen arts." --Amanda Hopkinson, Independent
