Alice Couvillon and Elizabeth Moore are both Louisiana natives who reside in Covington and graduated from Newcomb College in New Orleans. Together they wrote the Pelican titles Mimiis First Mardi Gras, Mimi and Jean-Paulis Cajun Mardi Gras, and Louisiana Indian Tales.
